Julie Ann (lead vocalist)

Julie Ann was singing as soon as she could talk, singing 3-part harmony with her sisters when they were young. Time has merged into rounds of voice competitions throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex, along with singing the National Anthem at the rodeos and ball games. She has recorded jingles, arranged and recorded original music for songwriters, back-up harmony for various artists, and finally her country cd "Red Ropers".  Her genre of music includes pop, Christian pop, jazz, classic rock, oldies, and country.

Kurt (drums, percussion)

A native of rural northeast Missouri, Kurt Cottey began playing snare drum in grade school. Classically trained in percussion throughout high school and college, he earned all-conference, district, and state honors, and performed in symphonic and stage bands, percussion ensembles, and the "Marching Mizzou" drum line. Kurt relinquished his amateur status and began his professional career on the drum throne while still in high school in the late 70s, when he and three friends survived the disco craze by forming a working rock-and-roll band. Over the next decade Kurt drummed for several rock, country, and jam-bands in the Midwest, Colorado, and upstate New York, while also attending college, eventually earning degrees in Physics and Aeronautical Engineering.

After graduation Kurt took a sabbatical from performing, during which he started a "real" job with a major defense contractor, married his college sweetheart, and settled down to raise a family of their own. Relocated by work to north Texas in the late 90s, Kurt entered the D/FW music scene soon thereafter, and resumed his performing career. He has played a wide variety of musical styles in a handful of Dallas area bands since then, and can currently be found laying down the groove on the backline for PopJamBlue. Kurt's early musical influences included Ringo Starr, Charlie Watts, and Floyd Sneed; more recently his playing style has been influenced by Richie Hayward, Steve Jordan, and Chris "Whipper" Layton.

Cliff (guitars, bass, vocals)

Texas singer/songwriter, Clifton Munroe has been entertaining local audiences for years. He has performed with the "Shifters" and currently performs as a solo artist with his own band in addition to providing back up vocals and rhythm guitar for "Popjamblue."

Danny (lead guitar)

Danny got his first guitar when he was 10 years old.  His Dad got him a Sears Silvertone with the amp built into the case.  A neighbor showed him 3 chords and he was off to conquer the world of rock n roll.  “I formed my first band as a freshman in high school called "Maddog" and we played every school dance for the next four years in my home town of Frisco, Texas.  Early guitar influences were John Fogerty, Richie Blackmore, and of course Hendrix.  Still love to pick that guitar after all these years and enjoy playing funk to hair metal with a little to 40 thrown in.  I enjoy PRS guitars and Mesa Boogie amps.”

Don (sound reinforcement, bass)

Don’s first paying gig was in 1968 - a political fundraiser with keynote speaker George H W Bush. (and to this day is still waiting for the follow-on business.) His earliest influences were Simon & Garfunkle; Peter, Paul, & Mary; the Everly Brothers. He is a master of the sound board and also plays a vintage Fender P-bass and finger style acoustic guitar on an old Maritn. “I also play an old Harmony baritone ukulele which I "borrowed" from my mother when I was eleven years old. She'll never get it back!”
